Nick Thiim's hope of winning a title in the Sunday race of DTM at Sachsenring melted when he hit the driver of the Winward Mercedes Jules Gounon, who had just returned to the track after his second pit stop. The incident took place in a dramatic way: Aston Martin hit hard a car called "Mamba" in the right front, causing the French to hurt the left hand.
