Německý jezdec zajel čas 2:16,535 s s vozem Audi #84 týmu Eastalent Racing a zajistil si tak první místo o pouhé dvě setiny sekundy. Úvodní den jely vozy na trati celkem osm hodin, mezi 9:00 a 12:00 a znovu od 13:00 do 18:00.
