Auer comments on the unfinished race Verstappen Racing: It was a great experience to go with Max

Verstappen's team colleague, Lucas Auer, commented on the entire weekend for selected media, including True Racing.
"Until we stopped, it was a really good race. Of course, I'm frustrated, but proud of our team. It was great to share the car with these pilots," says the Austrian.
Some 352 000 fans came to the record with weekend tickets being sold out in advance.
,, There were obviously many more people this time, more interested, more journalists etc. But it's definitely great for the GT3 world. "
Despite the strong course, and the leadership in the race, that won't be a victory. Mercedes had technical problems.
,, I think Max is also frustrated. But we've been in motorsport a long time, so we know how things work around here sometimes. But until our breakdown, it all went great.
With these conditions, it's all about survival, both for the car and for the man.
But I enjoyed it with this car. It's the biggest race for a German car company. At the same time, going through this with Max was a truly unique experience. "
Auer graduated with Verstappen also Qualifiers, while it was his first racing experience with a four-time champion.
Before the weekend, the Dutchman was told that he wanted to drive 24H Nürburgring for years to come. But does Verstappen Racing plan for another NLS race?
"I don't know yet, we haven't talked about it, so let's see," adds Auer.
