Mercedes dominated Friday's tests GTWC Europe

Mercedes-AMG took the first and second place on Friday's two-hour pay-per-view test run in Monza, which preceded the GT World Challenge race under the AWS Endurance Cup.

Last year's winning car - car # 48 Team Mann- Filter, was the fastest of all with a time of 1: 46,246 that Lucas Auer did. Car # 3 Verstappen Racing lags only 0.032 with thanks to time 1: 46,278 with his colleague from the AMG Jules Gounon factory team.

McLaren should also work well this weekend, which is confirmed by third place in the overall order. Joseph Loake was with car # 59 Garage 59 only 0.052 with from the total record, while Arthur Leclerc in his Ferrari # 50 AF Corse added the first four.

The first official training is scheduled for Saturday morning and the final starting set for the weekend has been confirmed, including several places that were previously with a question mark.

In the Audi # 99 team Trevor Attempto Racing was called Lorenzo Ferrari as a late replacement for Alex Aku, while Bobby Thompson debuts in series with BMW # 992 Paradine Competition.

Razoon Haas confirmed a complete lineup for his Porsche # 914, with all three riders going to debut in GT3 in Monza. The car will be driven by Lenny Ried - the son of a professional racer and team leader Christian Ried, and the father and son of Georgios and Stelios Kolovos. The other one is 16 years old and this weekend is the first time in an international race.
