Lando Norris tried on Hypercar McLaren
McLaren reports entry to the Hypercar FIA WEC category since season 2027. On that occasion, he attended his first public performance with the MCL- HY car.
At the Goodwood Speed Festival, the prototype on the track was first introduced to the public. Not only Lando Norris, but also Gregoire Saucy, who is involved in development, took a ride on the traditional climb to the top.
Norris, who graduated with Hypercar first meters, then also climbed the "Balcony Moment" alongside the legend MotoGP, Valentine Rossi.
Champion F1 was asked if he would ever race with Rossi at Le Mans.
"We have a lot of races now, but now that McLaren is getting on Le Mans, I'd love to be there in three or four years. It would be an honor and a lot of fun."
Rossi responded to this in words that he would try to wait. The BMW factory pilot did not take the Le Mans race this year, because his program contains only GT World Challenge and selected larger races.
