DTM is heading to Brandenburg for the third event of the season: the fifth and sixth race of the championship will take place on Dekra Lausitzring from June 19 to 21. Fans can look forward to many exciting races and exciting festival weekend. On Saturday night, the "DTM Powerstage presented by Pirelli" will present the top entertainment in the performance of "Dick Brave" aka Sasha.

Maro Engel will go to Lausitz as the leader of the championship. The Mercedes-AMG driver is leading the continuous DTM sequence in front of his team colleague Lucas Auer and Marco Wittmann in BMW M4 GT3 Evo. The factory rider Lamborghini and native from Dresden Maximilian Paul is looking forward to his home racing weekend at Lausitzring, where he will compete in the new Temerario GT3.

Each of the four races so far brought a different winner. Will this series continue this weekend? Auer certainly hopes for it: Austrian is a real specialist at Lausitzring, where he won his first DTM race in 2016 and celebrated his fourth victory in Lusatia last year. If Auer added to this record, he could find himself at the head of the table. The current leader Engel has taken on smart strategies and quick pit stops that have enabled the people of Monaco to climb from the end of the starting field to the front of the field. Engel ended up in all four races of the season in the first six.

Ben Dörr arrives at Lausitz with a wind in the sails. The driver of McLaren, thanks to his strong performance in Zandvoort, climbed to the sixth place in the table. "Last season we had a pace, but we made too many unnecessary mistakes. I was either quick, but pit stops weren't ideal, or vice versa. This year we are perfect at everything," says the driver of McLaren.

Kelvin van der Linde is another rider in great shape. South African celebrated his first victory in DTM for BMW in Zandvoort and has nice memories of the racing circuit in Brandenburg. "In 2024, I won Lausitzring and I also took second place. The circuit is great fun and allows good racing. We go there with good dynamics and we are fully motivated," says the BMW factory rider.

The spectators will also be able to enjoy the XXL-size motoring sport, because in the new TGP championship, trucks with more than 1,000 horsepower will be driven. The ADAC GT Masters competition for young GT3 drivers will also be included. The circuit will host the opening race of the BMW M2 Cup season, while the Porsche Sixt Carrera Cup Germany will be held this season for the third time.

The next peak is Friday night, when DTM is hosting a movie night. On Saturday night, viewers will be able to watch the World Cup game between Germany and Côte d'Ivoire at 10: 00.
