Jack Aitken from Cadillac Hertz Team JOTA from Dries Vanthoor from BMW M Team WRT for just five thousand seconds.

But it was just the second named who got the field position after the British had been taken away from his best time for the bike, because at the beginning of the training he left the working lane and joined the fast lane before he got permission.

For most of the 15-minute duel, it seemed that the first place on the starting grid would in any case be on the BMW side, because Vanthoor did a series of purple sectors and the fastest wheels, but in the end it was Aitken.

After qualifying, however, the Cadillac V-Series. R # 38 has fallen to 10th place for penalization and moved BMW M Hybrid V8 # 15 to field position, which Vanthor shares with Kevin Magnussen and Raffaele Marciell.

"I am extremely happy to be able to give everyone on the team who has worked so hard in recent months and years, what he deserves," noted the Belgian. "However, of course, we should not be too happy yet, because our goal is to win the race, so we must keep clean this weekend, but it is a great starting position."

In category LMGT3, Mattia Drudi made sure that the Aston Martin Vantage team 27 Team Heart of Racing Team won field position for the second time in a row. Alessio Rover from the VISTA AF Corse team also repeated his result from 2025 and took second place.
